Effective Meetings

Start on time, like an airplane's departure.
Cater to the people who are on time. Do not reward tardiness.

Set up ground rules for behavior, such as:
Respect all
Finish tasks for the meeting
Show up on time
Be calm, clean and composed

Avoid:
Interrupting
attacking other people's ideas
not being ready, unorganized
off topic

If someone leads the group off course, assert:
That is off topic.
Not now.
Let's get back on topic.
We are discussing ____ at this point.
